As time moves forward it's the natural progression of life for mother nature to take everything back and recycle it for later consumption. Some things take longer than others, but eventually it all goes back to the earth. So with homes, especially older one, its always a battle to overcome nature. Wood rots, roofs leak, pipes break. Stuff happens. But when it does you want to make sure you call someone that will fix the problem and work to prevent it from happening again. Pictured to the right are a few pictures of structural deck posts that were rotted really bad. We were able to replace them so that the deck was sound again.
